Jan. 12, 2013. Tomb (Mastaba) of KaGemmi in Saqqara, Egypt. There were no photos allowed inside but our guide, Rasha, took us inside and explained the carvings on the wall. They were of the most detailed and beautiful we had seen amongst all of the tombs we visited. The difference was this tomb depicted scenes of everyday life. The scenes of fishing and offerings at the entrance and the engraved reliefs in the pillared room representing games and dancing, farm work and a judgement, taking place in the Tribunal of Teti are all beautifully executed.
